Each client has a unique journey, as a licensed psychotherapist it is my core objective to guide clients toward making those positive changes to better deal with life’s challenges. My approach is to listen, understand and assist in the exploration of options to empower my clients to implement action steps at their pace and move forward. I have worked with clients for over twenty years in numerous clinical settings including: school based, community mental health, hospital-based, residential treatment, and private practice. These diverse environments have provided me a deep and solid base of therapeutic knowledge and skills, along with an opportunity to develop a compassionate and a nonjudgmental approach. It is my philosophy to partner and collaborate with clients to best utilize their strengths during treatment that will allow them the greatest opportunity to succeed in reaching their goals.
My background in becoming a therapist started with earning a Bachelors degree from Miami University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the College of Notre Dame.
