I am a Kentucky Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I received my Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. I have years of experience working with children, teens and adults with many different concerns. I am confident working with children and adults with traumatic histories, children in foster care, court ordered clients for substance abuse, crisis intervention, relationship counseling, and helping clients develop a better sense of purpose and self-worth. Clients tend to find me to be open, compassionate, empathic and relatable.
Although I tend to utilize numerous therapeutic skills and techniques from various theories, I tend to consistently use the principles of Choice Theory and Reality Therapy. I believe that most mental health issues are the result in a lack of our most basic needs. When our needs are met, the less we stress.
