Amanda McKinney is a Licensed Social Worker who obtained her Masters of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 2015.
Throughout her career, Amanda has always had a true passion for working with individuals from all walks of life to ensure they meet their self-identified goals for treatment. She believes in utilizing an individualized strengths-based holistic approach for each client and is a strong advocate for her clients right to self-determination.
Amanda is devoted to being a lifelong learner to ensure she is utilizing the best evidence based practices to provide high quality therapeutic services. Studying and practicing multiple modalities has allowed Amanda to work with clients with varying experiences and stressors. Her past clientele has included individuals who have experienced abuse and neglect, entering into and transitioning out of foster care, academic and vocational stress, as well as many more. She has experience working with individuals with Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, Trauma Related Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Behavioral Problems, and Depressive Disorders.
When Amanda is out of the office she enjoys traveling, reading True Crime, playing card and board games, spending time with her dog and cat, and practicing yoga.
